Battle of the Bands Competition
Results
The winners of this year's Battle of the Bands were The Stiggz. The Thringstone-based band is made up of Ben on drums,Rich and Robert on guitar and vocals and Chris on bass. The
runners-up were Her Blackened Entrails and Bay 26.The competition was judged by last year's winners, CriticalElements, and members of the Youth Council. The winners received £175 cash prize, with the runners-up receiving £50
each.
Councillor Craig Bowley, North West Leicestershire District
Council's Youth Champion, said: "This was a fantastic
opportunity for us to showcase local talent. I would like to
thank all the bands that performed and the Youth Council of
North West Leicestershire for organising this great event."
